MODERN SLAVERY AND HUMAN TRAFFICKING STATEMENT

TetraUrsler Ltd is a United Kingdom company, that is dynamic and expanding in its services provisions.  The company renders training and educational support services, repairs, maintenance & installations, quality control and quality assurance services to both domestic and commercial customers. Slavery, servitude, forced labour, and human trafficking are recognized as pervasive and escalating global issues, present across all regions and economic systems worldwide.

We regard TetraUrsler Ltd as  a low-risk organisation  in terms of modern slavery practices due to our core value which is equity and fairness. We are 100% committed in safeguarding our organisation against such and shall continually work towards ensuring that there is nothing close to modern slavery in our business operations,  and always ready to act ethically and with integrity in all our business relationships. We shall not in any way support any arrangement that is knowingly involved in modern slavery.

We expect all staff to always uphold the highest standards of ethical conduct and integrity. Any concerns, whether directly or indirectly related to modern slavery must be promptly reported through the appropriate reporting channels. It is the responsibility of our management and executive teams to take every such report seriously, and they are expected and required to act decisively upon all credible concerns in accordance with company policy and applicable legal obligations.

FRAUD & MAL-PRACTICE POLICY

TETRAURSLER LTD is committed to preventing fraud and corruption from occurring and to developing an anti-fraud culture with its operations and transactions.

As such, staffs shall always during the performance of their work, maintain a commendable pattern of ethical business and avoid any activity that might result in a violation of any applicable law and/or regulation particularly all existing anti-bribery and corrupt practices law currently in force in Nigeria

To achieve this, TETRAURSLER LTD shall comply with the requirements of Government Accounting :

  • Establish and uphold robust internal controls to proactively prevent fraud.
  • Ensure that any suspected or confirmed instance of fraud is investigated thoroughly and without delay.
  • Take appropriate disciplinary and legal measures where such action is warranted.
  • Continuously review and strengthen systems and procedures to guard against repeat occurrences.
  • Examine any supervisory lapses that may have contributed to the incident and apply disciplinary measures where necessary; and
  • Document and report all confirmed cases of fraud to the relevant authorities in accordance with statutory requirements.

Any member who defaults on this policy shall receive indefinite suspension and dismissal.

DRUG AND ALCOHOL POLICY

DRUG:

TetraUrsler Ltd recognizes the threat of usage of illicit drugs like, marijuana, cocaine, opiates, amphetamines, phencyclidine and; the risk it possesses to health and safety of personnel at work.

To this regard, the TetraUrsler targets not only to eliminate the use of drugs at work but also outside the workplace.

Any employee found using drugs in the workplace or under the influence of drugs while on duty shall be subject to termination. 

In order achieve the elimination of use of drugs at work the company shall:

  • Conduct Induction program for all personnel on the project on the harmful effect of use of illicit drugs to health
  • Regularly conduct random test on personnel for traces of illicit drugs
  • Closely monitor personnel

All personnel working for the company are required to implement this policy to the latter.

ALCOHOL:

The consumption of alcoholic beverages in the workplace poses a significant risk, leading to impaired employee performance and endangering health and safety.

In recognition of these risks, the company is committed to eliminating the presence and use of alcohol in all work settings.

To uphold this commitment:

Employees will be closely monitored to identify any signs of alcohol influence that may affect their conduct or job performance.

Any employee found to be under the influence of alcohol during work hours will be immediately removed from duty and escorted off the premises.
